Nyabushozi County, located in Kiruhura District in southwestern Uganda, is a region defined by its rich cultural heritage, pastoral economy, and resilient communities. Known for its expansive grazing lands and iconic long-horned cattle, the county represents a unique blend of tradition and gradual modernization. Today, it continues to grow as a center of agricultural productivity, cultural pride, and emerging economic opportunity.
Our Projects
Hon Wilson Kajwengye Twinomugisha serves as the Member of Parliament for Nyabushozi County, bringing extensive experience in law, diplomacy, and governance. His leadership is focused on improving livelihoods, strengthening institutions, and ensuring that the voices of the people of Nyabushozi are effectively represented at the national level.
We focus on improving lives in Nyabushozi through important areas like agriculture, infrastructure, education, and community empowerment. These efforts aim to support growth, create opportunities, and improve the daily lives of the people.
Efforts are focused on strengthening the backbone of Nyabushozi’s economy through improved livestock management, access to veterinary services, and promotion of modern farming techniques. Support for dairy and beef production continues to enhance productivity, while encouraging value addition and market access for farmers.
Ongoing advocacy and collaboration with government agencies aim to improve road networks, access to clean water, and rural electrification. These developments are essential for connecting communities, facilitating trade, and improving overall quality of life.
Investment in education remains a key priority, with support directed toward improving school infrastructure, increasing access to learning resources, and empowering young people through skills development programs that prepare them for future opportunities.
